Public swimming centre ”De Kwakel”
in Utrecht offers a recreation pool, two
competition pools, a children pool
and multipurpose center. The building
also locates a fitness center and a solarium.
The renovation of the building  included
the replacement of existing CFL lighting
fixtures above the pools, showers and
wet areas. Atomis developed a special
range of energy saving and maintenance-
friendly recessed LED downlights suitable
for these conditions. The luminaires are
resistant to chlorine and other vapors,
which dominate over the bassins.
