Thomasparochie
The Thomasparochie is located in the Mariakerk
in Oosterhout, the Netherlands. The church was completely renovated and redesigned recently. The building is not only used for religious services, but also for cultural events like theatre shows, art exhibitions, dance lessons and other events held for the local community.
The different functions demand a variety of illumination scenes in the interior.
The pendants provide effective downlighting with an uplight component smoothly illuminating the ceiling surfaces and the impressive arcs of the building. The square ornaments floating in the open space fit the modernised furnishing of the classical interior.
Pendant luminaire for Thomasparochie. The downlighting function is accurately achieved by two square downlights with optic louvre equipped with 4x42W dimmable compact fluorescent lamps. The uplight effect is realized by 2 linear fluorescent lamps.
The side panels are made of perforated metal providing a decorative side
lighting effect.
